Meet Dottie – “Hula Granny”

Hi, I’m Dottie, the heart behind Healthy Hula Hooping.

My journey began as a personal quest for healing after being diagnosed with a vestibular disorder. Struggling with balance and stability, I discovered that hula hooping not only strengthened my body but also gave me a sense of freedom I hadn’t felt in a long time.

Through this, I realized that movement isn’t just about fitness—it’s about joy, self-expression, and reclaiming control over your own body.

Now, I share this practice with others, helping people of all ages and abilities experience the benefits of hula hooping. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve coordination, or simply have fun, I’m here to guide you on your journey to feeling free—one spin at a time!
